How to use Connectivity Check in VOCOM Configurator

If a VOCOM device is connected to a computer via USB but not detected, you can use Connectivity Check in VOCOM Configurator to identify potential issues.

Note: Connectivity Check only works for a VOCOM Tough that is connected via USB.

If you are using a VOCOM Mini (paired wirelessly) or a VOCOM Tough in wireless mode, the results will show USB connection failed, which is expected.

1. Open VOCOM Configurator.

2. Select Menu > Connectivity Check.

3. The test starts immediately when you select Connectivity Check. You can click Start connectivity check to run it again at any time.

Result

Connectivity Check reports the status of:
  • USB Connection
  • VOCOM Location Service
  • Windows IPv6
  • VOCOM Configuration Service
  • VOCOM RP1210 Communication

Note: If any of the above items fails the check, then communication between the VOCOM device and the computer isn't possible. Check the troubleshooting guide for help.
