In VOCOM Configurator, the Status field in the Information tab shows the current activity of the VOCOM device.
Status - Available
The device status is set to Available when the device is successfully paired to a computer but currently not used by any diagnostic application, like Workshop Toolbox or Tech Tool.
Status - In use
The device status is set to In use when any application, like Workshop Toolbox or Tech Tool, is using the VOCOM device.
Status - Firmware update
The device status is set to Firmware update when a VOCOM firmware/software is being written to the device.
Status - FPGA update
A firmware update is sometimes followed by an FPGA update (also handled automatically). The VOCOM status is then shown as FPGA update.
